Trees and bees workshop on Aug. 2

A free workshop is being held for landowners in the Puslinch and Guelph area to learn ways to protect and attract bees and other pollinators.

The Trees and Bees Workshop will be held at Puslinch Community Centre, 23 Brock Road S., Puslinch from 7  to 8:30pm on Aug. 2.

Pollinators are vital for their role in food production and maintaining healthy natural ecosystems. Fruit, nuts, oilseeds and many vegetables require the help of bees, butterflies, moths and other insects for pollination. To register for the workshop email ruralwater@grandriver.ca or call Karen Buschert at the GRCA at 1-866-900-4722, ext. 2262. Preregistration is required.
