Need a ride?
East Wellington Community Services transportation program might be able to help.
For those 60 years of age and older needing a ride to a medical appointment, banking or grocery shopping, East Wellington Community Services can help.
The organization has a program which provides rides with friendly volunteer drivers.
Riders get to enjoy the ride and a conversation without worrying about making to it appointments on time – or having to rely on someone else to drive to the bank or the grocery store or to errands completed on a day that works with the rider.
Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer driver, or wanting more information on the transportation program, may call the Rockwood office at 519-856-2113.
