On June 25, at around 6pm, members of the Wellington County OPP Traffic Management Unit (TMU) attended a rural property located on the 11th Line of Minto, approximately one kilometre east of Highway 9, in response to information received of the whereabouts of a stolen John Deere tractor.

Officers attended the location on all-terrain vehicles and located a John Deere loader tractor model 6430 as well as a 2011 Ford F-150 pick-up truck.

The tractor was almost completely submerged in the marsh and the truck was stuck in the mud.

Investigation revealed that both the tractor and pick-up truck were reported to police as stolen with an estimated combined value of $121,500.

The investigation is still on-going at this time.
