Township seeks comment on kennel licensing
Wellington North is inviting public comments on proposed revisions to its kennel licensing provisions.
The township has had six licensed kennels that have operated or many years without incidents, nor have they generated complaints.
Recent applications to establish new kennels has sparked a review of the current bylaw. The township is inviting the public to submit comments on the draft bylaw, available online at wellington-north.com, by calling the township office at 519-848-3620 ext. 127 or at the municipal office temporarily located in the Mount Forest Sports complex, upper level.
Comments will be accepted until July 19 at noon. The bylaw will be presented at the July 24 council meeting.
