Guelph-Eramosa’s two municipal water systems received a perfect score in recent inspections by the Ministry of the Environment.
Public works manager Mark Robertson said the 100% rating at both the Rockwood and Hamilton Drive water systems was a result of hard work and dedication by staff. The township took over the services in 2009 from the Ontario Clean Water Agency.
The “focused inspection” – including a document review, physical inspection, staff interviews, audit sampling, SCADA review and alarm testing – was completed last month.
