The Minto Cultural Roundtable will be hosting a meeting for all community groups and event organizers in the town.
“There are so many great events taking place all year long in Minto. This is going to be a great opportunity for groups and event organizers to come together and learn about the many local resources available to help them promote and grow their events,” said Roundtable chair Andrew Gowan.
Some of the topics to be highlighted at the meeting include: advertising and cross-promoting, event funding, and event resource centres.
Most importantly, the meeting provides “a chance for groups to come together and see what everyone is doing and how they may be able to work together,” states a press release from the municipality.
The meeting will take place on March 30 at 7pm in the basement of the Harriston library. Light refreshments will be served.
“We encourage all groups and event organizers to make every attempt to attend this meeting. Our groups and events will all be stronger if we work together,” town officials stated.
