Theft from vehicle
On April 28 Wellington County OPP received a report of a vehicle that had been entered overnight on North Water Street West here.
Police say the suspect(s) entered the vehicle overnight and stole cash from a purse.
To help prevent future incidents, the OPP is reminding everyone about the “Lock It or Lose It” campaign.
“It is a crime prevention program that reminds the public to lock their vehicles and remove any valuables and keys from within. This helps reduce the motivation and likelihood of property crimes,” police say.
