TD Bank donates $3,500 to Focus on Nature charity

GUELPH — Focus on Nature recently announced the TD Bank donated $3,500 to support its nature and arts programing for elementary school students in Ontario.

TD has supported Focus on Nature since 2010, and continues through the TD Ready Commitment.

“TD has been a proud sponsor of Focus on Nature for many years,” said Jacqueline Aldrovandi, district vice president for TD branch banking in Milton, Guelph and area.

“We are thrilled to continue supporting this fantastic program that gets young children out into nature and teaches them a new appreciation for the environment around them.”

Focus on Nature is a registered charity based in Guelph that delivers school-based nature photography programs that inspire young people to connect with the natural world and develop their own creative potential.

“We are honoured to have TD Bank as a corporate sponsor,” said Focus on Nature executive director Simon Bell. “TD’s continued commitment ensures that we can offer children in our community an opportunity to explore and connect with nature in their neighbourhoods, through the art of photography.”

TD has targeted $1 billion by 2030 towards community giving.
