NEWMARKET – The Superstars Baton Club started off its competition season well at the Miss Valentine Twirl on Feb. 9.
The club is based in Fergus and Arthur, under the direction of head coach Krista DiStasi.
Individual results are as follows:
Simone Arbour (age 13) of Arthur received one 1st place.
Destinee Faust (age 9) of Arthur received one 1st, one 7th, one 9th and was 2nd in the Novice Miss Valentine Pageant.
Maggie Fisher (age 10) of Fergus received one 5th.
Mackenzie Fraser (age 12) of Arthur received two 1st, two 2nd and one 3rd and won the PreTeen Miss Intermediate Valentine Pageant.
Alyssa George (age 15) of Fergus received three 2nd and one 4th.
Amelia Green (age 6) of Arthur received two 1st, one 3rd and 3rd in the Prim Miss Novice Valentine Pageant.
Jamie Green (age 9) of Arthur received two 1st, three 2nd and 2nd in Juv Miss Beginner Valentine Pageant.
Khloe Hall (age 5) of Arthur received one 3rd.
Annabelle Hodgson (age 11) of Arthur received one 5th, one 7th, one 8th and 8th in the PreTeen Miss Novice Valentine Pageant.
Morgan Hutchison (age 11) of Arthur received three 1st and one 3rd.
Paige Johnston (age 11) of Arthur received two 2nd, one 4th and was 3rd in the PreTeen Miss Beginner Valentine Pageant.
Shayla Logel (age 14) of Elora received one 1st, one 3rd, two 6th and 4th in the Junior Miss Intermediate Valentine Pageant.
Chelsea McFadden (age 11) of Fergus received one 3rd, one 4th, two 6th and was 7th in the PreTeen Miss Novice Valentine Pageant.
Kylee Pringle (age 11) of Fergus received one 1st, one 2nd, two 3rd and was 2nd in the PreTeen Miss Novice Valentine Pageant.
Jayda Saunders (age 9) of Fergus received three 1st, two 2nd and won the Juv Miss Novice Valentine Pageant.
Lainey Saunders (age 12) of Fergus received one 1st, two 2nd, one 3rd, one 5th and 4th in the PreTeen Miss Beginner Valentine Pageant.
Millie Schnieders (age 6) of Arthur received two 2nd, one 3rd and 2nd in Prim Miss Novice Valentine Pageant.
Makenzie Worton (age 16) of Fergus received one 1st, one 2nd and two 4th.
The duet team of Green and J. Saunders won the Beginner Duet division and the team of Annabelle Hodgson and L. Saunders won their Novice Duet division. George and Worton won in the Advance Pairs division and Saunders and Saunders also won the Beginner Pairs division.
The teams Boogie Shoes (members J. Green, McFadden, J. Saunders and L. Saunders) placed 1st and Phantom (members Fraser, George, Irwin, Johnston, Logel and Worton) also won their division.
