Starboretum workshop running on Sept. 20

Ever look up at the night sky and wonder what’s up there?

If so, join guest instructor Trevor Chandler on Sept. 30 (the rain date is Oct. 1) at Starboretum 2011 for stargazing in the Arboretum.

In the sky that evening will be a young crescent moon, the planets Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune, and the always splendid summer Milky Way.

Members of the Kitchener-Waterloo Royal Astronomical Society of Canada will be setting up their telescopes to provide views of those sights and more.

Registration fee is $10 and the registration deadline is Sept. 23.

For more information or to register for the event call The Arboretum at 824-4120 extension 52358.
