Speeder of the Week - October 1, 2026
PUSLINCH – On Sept. 12 at around 12pm, Wellington County OPP pulled over a speeder on Concession 7.
A 58-year-old Guelph man was charged with speeding, performing a stunt (excessive speed) and having improper tires. He is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
CENTRE WELLINGTON – On Sept. 21 at about 6:30am, a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on Wellington Road 7. Police say the officer observed a vehicle that appeared to be travelling above the posted speed limit.
A 26-year-old from Cambridge was charged with speeding and performing a stunt (excessive speed) and is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
In the above incidents the driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days and the vehicle seized for 14 days.
