Shoplifts in sandals

Police are looking for help to identify an alleged shoplifter with a sweet tooth who was caught on surveillance video here last summer.

On Aug. 19, 2017, Wellington County OPP received a report of a theft from a Mac’s Convenience Store on Main Street South in Mount Forest.

Police say the suspect was captured on video shoplifting approximately $65 in chocolate bars between 8 and 9pm.

“After investigations, OPP have not been able to identify the male and are asking the public for their assistance,” police stated in a press release.

“Eye witness reports estimate the male to be 40 years old, 5’6” tall, with a medium build.”
