Seniors Centre membership close to 1,000
Victoria Park Seniors Centre membership is reaching the size of many small communities in Wellington County.
On Feb. 20 Centre Wellington councillor Fred Morris said the membership numbers at the centre continue to move upwards.
He added that Kathryn Morgan, supervisor of senior services “is confident that by the end of the fiscal year, membership will reach the 1,000 mark ... that would be a record and certainly something to celebrate.”
