Radiothon helps hospitals
Eleven area hospital foundations, including two from the county, will participate in this 14th annual CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon on Oct. 17.
Mount Forest Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation and the Palmerston and District Hospital Foundation are once again taking part in the event.
The fundraiser is broadcast live on CKNX 920AM from 9am to 5pm and on the hour on Classic Rock 94.5FM and The One 101.7.
With volunteers manning the phones, callers can indicate support for the hospital of their choice when they call, toll free, 1-877-227-3486.
