Puslinch Township closes all indoor recreational facilities

ABERFOYLE ‐ Puslinch Township has decided to close all indoor public recreational facilities due to COVID-19.

The closures, announced on march 16, will be in effect until April 5.

Township officials are also asking residents to eliminate all non-essential visits to township facilities and use the internet or telephone whenever possible for items such as taxes, burn permits, dog tags, building inspections and recreation bookings/cancellations.

Additionally, there is a secure 24/7 drop box at the municipal office.

“The Township of Puslinch continues to monitor the rapidly changing situation and will implement changes as necessary,” said Mayor James Seeley.

“The township will continue to work with our partners and follow the guidance of public health officials.”

Township officials stress the municipality is ensuring continuity of essential services such as fire and road maintenance.

All township parks, fields, trails and outdoor spaces remain open.
