Pumpkin Day set for Bissell Park in Elora on Oct. 10

Ready to paint the town orange?

The band 5 Live Rock and professional pumpkin carver Kevin Bender are ready to entertain at Pumpkin Day in Elora on Oct. 10 from 10am to 1pm.

The free family event is at the park in conjunction with the Elora Farmers’ Market.

Bender will demonstrate the skill of carving a giant pumpkin, which some lucky family will get to take home.

Inspired families are invited to carve their own pumpkin to go.

The all-girl band 5 Live Rock will be on hand to keep things rocking.

One World Puppets will be there to entertain and Nerine of Shakti Studio will lead zumba for the young and the young at heart.

Bears Cheerleading will be on hand to strut their stuff and the Blue Bonnie Lassies School of Highland Dance will provide a fling or two.

Mapleton Organic will be there scooping pumpkin ice cream.
