ABERFOYLE  – On Jan. 12 at about 12:05am, Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a theft from a business here.

Police say two pickup trucks attended the store, one backed through the front entrance of the store and three suspects loaded trimmers, a power blower and generators into the truck before fleeing.

One of the vehicles, which police say was reported stolen from Guelph, was located a short time later, abandoned and on fire. Police are interested in identifying the second vehicle, a silver GMC pick-up truck that was last seen travelling south on Brock Road (Highway 6).

The suspects are described as:

- male, wearing a red camo jacket and blue pants;

- male wearing dark clothing, green gloves and a hoodie; and

- male wearing a dark grey jacket and a dark winter toque and dark face mask

Preliminary estimates put damages to the building near $50,000. Police are asking anyone with information or who has access to surveillance footage in the area to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
