Pepper spray discharged

GUELPH – Police are investigating after pepper spray was discharged outside a downtown bar early on Oct. 4.

Just before 2am, police received a report of a disturbance in the downtown core, Guelph Police officials say.

“Several parties engaged in a physical altercation inside and were removed. Outside, one of the parties discharged pepper spray into the air, causing several people to feel the effects.” Police say the suspect is described as a white male, more than six feet tall, with blonde hair in a mushroom-style cut and wearing a black shirt with white stripe on the collar.
