Parents and high school students Take Flight at Wellington Catholic

The Wellington Catholic District School Board is offering Take Flight night, an evening of course option information for parents, guardians and students in Grades 9 to 12.

This event will feature programs and courses for all four Wellington Catholic high schools: Bishop Macdonell, Our Lady of Lourdes, St. James and St. John Bosco.

Take Flight will be held at Bishop Macdonell Catholic High School on Feb. 29 beginning at 7:00pm.

“If your child is currently attending or planning to attend a Wellington Catholic high school, you will want to attend Take Flight night,”said Brian Capovilla, superintendent of education. “Participants can learn more about our Pathways programs and district courses and will have the opportunity to meet the teachers and talk to students who have participated in these unique and engaging programs.”

Wellington Catholic high schools each offer an inclusive and unique faith-based environment that is open to all students, regardless of religious denomination, which is often referred to as ‘open access’.

All students who are eligible to attend high school in Guelph and Wellington County are eligible to attend a Catholic high school.
