OPP recover tractors stolen from Erin business
On June 26, at approximately 7:40am, Wellington County OPP received a report that six Kubota lawn tractors with a value over $100,000 were stolen overnight from Ed Stewart’s Equipment located in Erin.
Police obtained information that the lawn tractors were located inside a trailer within a locked compound in Dundas.
Hamilton Police Service assisted with the incident while a search warrant was obtained. Wellington County OPP Street Crime Unit (SCU), Wellington County Major Crime, Perth SCU, Emergency Response Unit (ERT), Mount Forest Forensic Identification Services executed a search warrant in the early morning on June 27 at the Dundas address and the stolen tractors were recovered.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing.
