OPP looking for man who exposed himself

Police are looking for help to identify a man who exposed himself to someone here last week.

On June 28 at about 6:15am a woman walking her dog on Highland Road near McTavish Street in Fergus saw a silver Volkswagon Jetta drive by.

Police say a few minutes later the same vehicle pulled up beside the woman with the passenger window down and the man driving the car asked for directions to Highway 6.

“When the victim stepped off the curb and bent down to speak with the male through the window she noticed that he was exposing himself and she walked away,” stated a press release from the Wellington County OPP.

Police describe the vehicle as a silver Volkswagon Jetta, “possibly with dark tint in the rear window that is peeling and looks similar to a dark circle.”

The male suspect is likely in his early 20s with an olive complexion, police say.

The OPP is asking anyone with information that can assist their investigation – or about similar incidents – to call 1-888-310-1122.
