New curlers welcome at Hillsburgh Curling Club

The Hillsburgh Curling Club will be starting its 2015-16 season on Oct. 27 at the Orangeville Curling Club with a fun night open to all curlers. Curling is suited for all ages and fitness levels.

The club welcomes all levels of skill. They have members who can instruct new joiners on getting started.

Participants are asked to bring a clean pair of running or walking shoes and wear warm comfortable clothing. The first night is free for all newcomers.

The club said it is looking forward to seeing returning members on the Oct. 27 and will begin scheduled team games starting Nov. 3.

Curling is a fun way to meet new people and helps keep you active through the long winter months, officials state.
