Police have located a male teenager who went missing on April 13.

On Monday at around 12:52pm, Wellington County OPP received a call regarding Austin Whalen, a 17-year-old male reported missing from a home on the 1st Line near Sideroad 27 in the Town of Erin. He was last seen at approximately 11:52am that day.

Police said Whalen suffers from health issues, which has "created concern for his safety and well-being."

The missing teen is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, 125 pounds, short brown hair, with wire framed glasses, wearing dark clothing and a black and grey coat.

"Possible destinations include the Tim Horton’s in Fergus or the Fergus Library," police said in a press release.

On April 14, the Wellington County OPP advised that Austin Whalen was located shortly before midnight on April 13 by the police in a neighbouring jurisdiction.  The male was located safe and in good health.
