On March 20, councillor Wayne Stokley updated Puslinch representatives on his recent meeting with Friends of Mill Creek.
Stokley said information was sent to councillors regarding the upcoming Meet the Creek events being planned.
“The group is looking at developing a flyer which could be sent out to libraries, schools and other locations to make sure people are aware of what is happening.”
The first event is May 26 at 2pm – starting at the headwaters of Mill Creek, at Matthew Bulmer’s property.
Stokley said Bulmer has indicated that he would love to have people come out to see what is happening to Mill Creek in that area.
In June another event and walk is planned for the Aberfoyle area. Other events are planned in September and October. Stokley anticipated all the events will be on Sundays, but not all the dates have been finalized.
