Marijuana at RIDE
On April 11 at about 9:33am, Wellington County OPP officers were conducting RIDE spot checks on Wellington Road 35 at Concession 4 in Puslinch Township.
Officers investigated the driver of a 2010 Ford pick-up truck that entered into the checkpoint.
Upon approaching the vehicle police allegedly detected the odour of what they suspect was fresh marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.
The driver surrendered a substantial quantity of suspected bud marijuana to police.
Wallace Jardine, 56, of Kitchener, was charged with possession of a marijuana under 30g. He is to appear in Guelph court on May 12.
