Man threatens to blow up bus in Puslinch
Police made an arrest after a man threatened to blow up a GO bus here recently.
On Feb. 21 at approximately 7:05am Wellington County OPP officers responded to a report of a man on a GO bus threatening to blow it up with a bomb.
Police say when officers arrived at the GO Station on MacLean Road in Puslinch, all the passengers had vacated the bus and the suspect and driver were still on board.
“The male was seen pacing back and forth while speaking with the driver,” police said in a press release.
“Officers moved passengers to the exterior of the GO station for safety purposes and the male was taken into custody and taken to a local hospital for a mental assessment.”
Police say no explosive device was located and no one was injured.
The name of the accused was not released by police.
