ELORA – Hundreds of people came out to the Elora Centre for the Arts on Oct. 5 to enjoy the music, food,  drinks and more during the Concert with Addy-tude, but they were also supporting an important cause – sarcoma research at SickKids Hospital.

FERGUS – Police are once again warning residents to watch out for scams after a Fergus resident was bilked of tens of thousands of dollars and a Guelph man lost over $111,000.

ELORA – “The Awakening” event on Oct. 5 in downtown Elora officially kicked off Monster Month in the village, with a pumpkin smash, a pumpkin carving competition, costume fashion show and more.

FERGUS – Centre Wellington organizations are coming together to show the community what supports are available and to provide resources through a collaborative event.

ELORA – Moloks will not be installed at the site of new public washrooms in downtown Elora after all. 

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Participants from the supportive arts program joined Centre Wellington Mayor Shawn Watters and Elora Centre for the Arts board members, volunteers and staff at the official groundbreaking for a new 3,500-square-foot addition to the facility on Oct. 24.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Centre Wellington will put a pause on the idea of paid parking in downtown Fergus and Elora for 2025. And the township will commence the process to move from the provincial offences model to administrative monetary penalty system (AMP) when it comes to parking tickets.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Elora and Fergus are calling all ghouls, ghosts and monsters to celebrate the month of October with Sensational Elora’s Monster Month.

BELWOOD – The Fieldstone Barn and Farm marked one of many Fall Rural Romp Locations on Sept. 28, featuring a large sunflower field, photo props, an on site store and sitting area as well a few special guest alpacas from Harmony Meadows Alpaca Farm in Belwood.

FERGUS – The Centre Wellington District High School junior and senior boys soccer teams are off to good starts.
