Local Olympian returns with hockey academy

The Brianne Jenner Female Hockey Academy has a few spaces remaining in programs during the week of July 30.

Jenner, a Wellington County resident during her off-season, a two-time Olympian and current assistant captain with the Women’s National Team, and Marc Power, a Power-Skating instructor with the national program, Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators teams up with other Hockey Canada Women’s program players and coaches to form an outstanding instructional team.

The academy provides options for girls from six to 16, and offers a day program in which players are on the ice daily, with an emphasis on power-skating and covering all basic skills.

Additionally, there are separate programs for girls playing rep hockey, including the goal scoring and offensive skills camp, the advanced power-skating camp and the prospects camp.
