Liquor lifted
A local man was charged with theft after taking a bottle of alcohol from an LCBO store.
On Sept. 25 at about 1:10pm, Wellington County OPP received a report of a theft from the LCBO in Fergus.
Police say a man left the store without paying for a bottle of alcohol. He was located and arrested.
Matthew Hirtle, 30, of Fergus, was charged with theft under $5,000. He is to appear in Guelph court on Nov. 10.
