Lions honoured
Three Elora Lions Club members were honoured at a recent club meeting. Zone Chairman Lion Eric Peterson of Fergus Lions, right, presented Chevrons of long service to Lion Glen Kelley, 35 years service; Lion John Morris, 40 years service; and Lion Josef Van den Borre, 25 years service. The Elora Lions are a service club in Elora and go by the motto “We Serve.” Community-minded individuals are encouraged to join the Lions to assist in providing community events and projects. The Elora Lions website www.eloralions.org contains contact information for the club. The Elora Lions will bring Santa Claus to Elora on Nov. 28 at 6pm.
