Light up the Town event planned in Harriston, Nov. 17
The annual Light up the Town event here is set for Nov. 17 at 7pm at the Tannery Park. The event will feature the lighting of 18 new street trees.
Following the lighting everyone can check out Christmas Around the World at the Harriston branch of the Wellington County Library, featuring hot chocolate, cookies, music and Christmas stories from around the world. A special appearance from Santa Claus is also anticipated.
On Nov. 18 the annual Ladies Night will be held between 5 and 9pm. Participants can fill their pasSports for a chance to win prizes while shopping at local businesses.
