Canada’s ‘buffoon’

Dear Editor:
An open letter to all Canadians.
Who cares about Donald Trump? We need to discuss Justin Trudeau !
Whether you vote Liberal, Conservative, NDP or Green, we collectively as a country need to have a serious discussion.
Trudeaus’ actions are outrageous and darn right scary; he behaves more like a little dictator rather than a man of the people. He is more divisive than a uniting.
The UN Migration Pact, which Justin Trudeau is bound and determined to sign in December, is frightening. Many countries have told the UN no – countries such as Japan, Australia, Austria, Sweden, Poland, Hungary, USA, Italy, even Belgium , to name a few. This pact is not good. I implore all of you to read the implications that this will have on all of us, including our so-called free speech.
Next, Trudeau states our oil sector is in crisis. Really? Who would have guessed that ? I say shame on the whole Liberal party for allowing this to go on.
We don’t want to complete our pipelines and employ literally thousands of Canadians while being able to diminish our ever increasing astronomical debt.
Even though extracting oil is a messy business, no one – I repeat, no one – uses modern technology and cleans up better than we Canadians do. Look for yourselves at some former extraction sites.
But sadly, no, instead we import 800,000 barrels a day of foreign oil from the Saudis at $70 a barrel. Do the math. And this is being shipped up and down the St. Lawrence River, and this is okay?
Remind yourselves that this oil comes from a place that still stones women to death. Bravo Canada!
It is time to pull our faces away from our electronic devices and find out what is actually going on in our own country. Again I ask, who really cares about Donald Trump? We have our own buffoon in Ottawa; a buffoon with better hair, but still nonetheless a buffoon.
Signed a patriotic nationalist (since when is it a bad thing to love and be proud of one’s country?).

Delsie Drover,

Belwood
