Politicians, who recommend drug legalization, contradict caring parent’s teachings to ‘not do drugs’. They lie to us, to gain political power.
Ask them, ‘Do you say the same thing to your children or is that different’.
I will not mince words about anti-parent politicians who turn us away from protecting our children. As responsible parents we already know the truth. We can distinguish it from self-serving politician’s lies.
Ambitious politicians go too far when they bend to the peer pressure of their leaders and interfere with our parental responsibilities. Will their children follow their example and also bend to their peer pressures? The silence is deafening from many current election candidates, or perhaps it is enlightening.
As parents, if caring for our children is not the foundation of our values and goals, then genuine truth, love and meaning are missing. Our children are watching us.
