Dear Editor –

The immensely popular Elora Horse & Hound Parade returns to the Village for its 3rd annual romp through the streets!

Come on out and witness the pomp and ceremony of an authentic non-sporting English Ride by the Eglinton & Caledon Hunt Club. Dressed in full livery, they take to the streets, hounds romping and barking, collecting funds along the way to help in the purchase of an electro mammogram machine for Groves Hospital. In the past two years we have raised nearly $10,000 for the cause!

Of special interest this year, there will be an appearance by the internationally acclaimed McKewon Farms Clydesdale team with wagon, as well as interpretive displays.

There will be food and music and a good time to be had, as well as an opportunity to mix and mingle with the riders, horses and hounds – all for a good cause. Please mark your calendars and come out to this unique event. 100% of the profits from this entire event go to the project.

It all happens on Sunday, October 5th, from 1pm sharp, at the Elora Mill Inn – West Mill Street, Elora.

Up to date information can be found on our website www.elorahorseandhound.com

Sincerely,

Fred Gordon – Organizer – Elora Horse & Hound
