In February 2014, my 16 year old daughter and myself will travel to the Dominican Republic with a mission team. Our intention is to feed a remote village and assist with building a house. We are obligated to raise funds to assist with these projects and so I immediately approached my friend and yoga/Zumba teacher Nerine Christie to see if she could help by teaching a class where all funds raised will be donated to our cause. She enthusiastically agreed and a class was held last Friday night to a group of eager participants.
I would like to thank Nerine for her generosity and encourage those of you who haven’t tried a class by Nerine to get on over to her new studio. I guarantee that not only will you have a great time, that your body will sing afterwords. It’s nice to be reminded that in a busy world, people are still willing to take the time to lend a helping hand.
