Teachers’ Strike Dear Editor; I presume that while chasing higher wages, paid sick time, huge benefits, and the joy of protesting, our front line teachers have missed one fiduciary oath: “The subject who is truly loyal to the chief magistrate will neither advise nor submit to arbitrary measures.” This quotation by Junius, stated thousands of years ago, should be placed in their pay envelopes along with a copy of President Reagan’s solution to the Air Traffic Contoller’s Strike in August 1981.
