My wife and I, and two friends were on our way back from bringing in the New Year at a friends place in Arthur. Coming home we turned onto Side Road 21, plowed through snow drifts up to 14 in deep, then turned left on the 16th Line into deeper snow drifts. Thankfully some farmer out doing the job of the County of Wellington was clearing the road with his John Deere tractor & blower so people like us could get through. Our friends that live on Side Road 21 say they only see a plow once a day around 7 am, that’s unacceptable. I’d like to say a big “thank you” to this kind gentleman for doing this at 1 o’clock in the morning. Have a great New Year. Cheers.
