Lego Room to open in Grand Valley
Spenser’s Heart Children’s Charity is celebrating the grand opening of its Lego Room on Oct 3.
The Lego Room is a safe and neutral space for children to heal from traumatic events in their life such as divorce, a major illness, death of a family member or friend, accident or injury.
The Lego Room will have a licensed social worker and trained volunteers to supervise the children at all times.
Spenser’s Heart will be hosting a car rally starting at 9:30am on Oct. 3.
The $40 car rally will take participants on a scenic tour of Dufferin and Simcoe counties followed by a barbecue lunch and festivities starting at noon.
