In time for the holiday season, gift shoppers looking to find something unique can help support Trillium Waldorf School at the same time.
The Trillium Auction: An Online Shopping Extravaganza online event was launched on Nov. 23 during the school’s annual Cranberry Market.
The Auction features more than 300 items, including certificates for one-of-a-kind local experiences such as a flight-seeing tour, private classical guitar performance and didgeridoo lessons, in addition to art, handcrafts, children’s items, entertainment and more.
Online shoppers can go directly to trilliumauction.ca to peruse and bid on items anytime.
“We like to imagine people on our website in their p.j.’s with a hot chocolate, which beats holiday shopping at the mall any day,” said event organizer, Nancy Kielar, who believes the auction offers “something spectacular for everyone on your gift list”.
Bidding is open until Dec. 8 at 3pm. Successful bidders will claim their winnings from the school on Dec. 9.
