Kenilworth Public School gets grant from DuPont Pioneer

Kenilworth Public School has received a $500 donation from DuPont Pioneer as part of its Full Belly! Full Mind! initiative that supports nutrition and breakfast programs across Canada.

The grant will be specifically used to purchase food for the morning snack programs offered to 70-plus students, from junior kindergarten to Grade 6.

“It is our goal to ensure that students’ bodies and minds are well nourished, and we do that by providing healthy food and educating children and parents on ways to eat heathy,” said John Snowe, Pioneer sales representative from Rosendale Farms Ltd.

DuPont Pioneer account manager Jim Coffey added, “We have made this donation as we understand the importance for our children of starting each day with a nutritious meal for a bright and successful future.

“We thank DuPont Pioneer for their generosity.”

Pioneer makes contributions to community-based organizations on behalf of the business and employees.

Consideration for outreach grants are given to communities where Pioneer representatives, employees and customers live and work and that support quality-of-life initiatives.
