WELLINGTON COUNTY – Josh Brander has been announced as 4-H Ontario’s new 2022 youth director on the organization’s Council Board of Directors.
The youth director is responsible for bringing views and issues of 4-H youth to council discussions and assisting with the development of the 4-H Ontario program, states a press release.
Brander joined the Wellington 4-H Association in 2013 and has since completed 71 club projects and participated in several 4-H provincial opportunities.
“My goal is to make 4-H as accessible as possible, not only to the demographic who are already involved, but for those who have never heard of [4-H] before,” Brander stated. “I am really excited for the upcoming year, and very thankful to be a part of it.”
