Hospital parking lot resurfacing

Vehicle access to Groves Memorial Community Hospital will be temporarily affected after parking lot resurfacing work began on Oct. 30

All healthcare services will continue to operate as usual throughout the duration of the construction.

During the construction, portions of the hospital’s public parking lot will be closed to enable crews to work on the lot. Traffic control personnel will be on-site during the day to direct traffic to the most appropriate entrance. Signage will also be in place to guide traffic and make the public aware of these temporary changes.

This parking lot construction is expected to take approximately three weeks, weather permitting. The repairs are necessary to eliminate tripping hazards from an aging parking lot.

The repairs are paid for by the Ontario Government’s Hospital Infrastructure Renewal Funding.

Further announcements will be issued as required to make the public and staff aware of any impact on parking or site access.
