Police are looking for witnesses to a hit and run collision here last week.

Wellington County OPP officials say they are investigating a collision between an e-bike and an older model, white cargo van on May 27 at about 6pm at the intersection of Main Street South and Queen Street in Mount Forest.

Police say the male operator of the e-bike sustained minor injuries and the driver of the van, who failed to stop at the scene, is described as a man in his 20s or possible younger.

“There may be damage to the van’s windshield and hood as a result of the collision,” police stated in a press release.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information can call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. To remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip on-line at www.csgw.tips.
