Guelph man wins $100,000 in lottery game
GUELPH – Jesse Damery of Guelph is $100,000 richer after winning the top prize with OLG's Instant 5x The Cash lottery game.
"I pinched myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming," stated Damery, 39, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.
"I was in disbelief. I told my girlfriend right away."
He plans to invest his winnings to start his own business.
“It still doesn’t feel real," he said.
The winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven on University Avenue in Waterloo.
