Greenback counterfeit

Guelph Police have recently received reports of $20, $50 and $100 counterfeit U.S. bills being distributed at businesses within Guelph.

“This is a common occurrence ... However, with the recent reports, we ask businesses to take extra precautions ...” police stated in a press release.

“When in doubt, you can refuse to take the bill or call police to assist.”
