Graffiti in Erin

Since the beginning of March, the Town of Erin has been victimized by a rash of graffiti on both public and private property.

On May 23, the town’s recreational department reported graffiti at Centre 2000 on Boland Drive in Erin.

Police say suspects targeted the skateboard park, garbage dumpsters and the exterior doors of the arena.

“Security images from that evening show a suspect vehicle entering the parking lot of the community centre at approximately 10:48pm,” police stated in press release, describing the vehicle as a silver four-door car with a sunroof.

“Police believe a small group of individuals are responsible for this occurrence and earlier mischief occurrences in the area.”
