Fuel theft

Wellington County OPP received a report of fuel theft on Sept. 20 sometime between 8 and 9pm at a business on Wellington Road 109 near Beehive Lane.

Police say a male carrying jerry cans was dropped off by a female driving a pickup truck. He proceeded to syphon diesel fuel from machinery on the property. The vehicle accelerated southbound quickly from the scene.

The suspect vehicle has been described as a white GMC diesel extended cab pickup (not a four door) with a lift kit, chrome or alloy wheels, a tool box across the truck bed behind the cab, a single centre mount whip CB antenna on the roof and noisy exhaust.

There are no descriptors on the male passenger but the female has been described as having long blond hair, a thin build and wearing a black leather jacket.
