A Family Information Fair slated for Oct 31 here at the Sportsplex.
It is a free event open to all families. It is run by non-profit groups, and both local school boards have approved the event.
It will feature almost every local organization that has anything to do with children and their well being, including agencies from government, private business, and individuals donating their time and experience to reach out to the community’s families.
Parents are encouraged to come and to speak with the professionals available who will attempt to answer questions or address concerns.
Trellis Mental Health, tutoring services, music services, speech therapists, family counseling, educational assessment services, and much more will be available for consultation.
This is the third annual event.
It will run from 9am to 1pm.
