Food bank needs coats and boots for winter
Centre Wellington Food Bank officials say they are “in desperate need” of winter coats, snow pants and boots for children and adults.
Food bank chair Jackie Andrews said they do not need knitted mittens and hats, but are looking for lined winter gloves.
She added scarves are also not needed because children cannot wear them at school.
Andrews is requesting anyone who can donate the desired items to drop them off at the food bank any Tuesday or Thursday from 9:30am to 4:00pm or Wednesday from 6 to 8pm.
