The Centre Wellington Food Bank was the recipient of a $1,000 donation donated by RBC Dominion Securities and RBC Bank Group.
The Food Bank was the charity of choice at the Chamber of Commerce’s putting contest on June 21 at Ariss Valley Golf and Country Club. Even the thundershower downpour didn’t keep the dedicated golfers off the course.
The putting contest this year ended up in a three-way tie that had to be broken by a putt-off. Officials say the real winners of the contest was TV Cogeco, which won $400 in FERA Gift of Choice cheques.
